From 30th June, France will allow events with no limitations on attendee numbers. However, following the decree taken by the government on 06-06-21 modified on 08-07-21, the sanitary measures to apply on any event from August 9th until November 15 include asking every attendee to show a “Sanitary Pass” containing this information:

• That you are fully vaccinated (with an EMA-approved vaccine):
    | One week after the second shot for two-shot vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca);
    | Four weeks after the shot for one-shot vaccines (Johnson & Johnson);
    | One week after the shot for vaccines administered to people who have already had COVID-19 (only one dose is necessary).
• OR that you have been tested (PCR or antigen) with a negative result within the last 72 hours;
• OR that you have recovered from COVID-19, attested by a positive test with over 3 months and less than 6 months

.Please note that together with the “Heath Pass” a valid ID has to be presented.

“Health Pass” in France corresponds to the “digital green certificate” or “European COVID-19 certificate” offered by the European commission.

The above information is subject to change.

At the time of writing, face masks are still mandatory to be worn in France indoors. Only three types of masks will be recommended: surgical, the FFP2 and fabric masks made to category 1 standards. This may change closer to the event date.

The content programme will be hosted on a Virtual Event Platform called Swapcard. We recently used this for our CPhI Discover event – it’s very intuitive and easy to use.
